: : I have bought an Olympus u400 and housing as my first attempt at underwater photography. Each time I have used the camera I have noticed an what I would consider an excessive amount of condensation inside the housing. Soetimes its so bad that I can't see the LCD through the back window. Each time I've used the camera it's been in cold water (Scotland / North Sea)

: No this is not normal....you may have got some moisture in the housing from a previous leak but its strange that it should condense when you go from warm to cold. Try leaving the housing open in a warm dry area - airing cupbourd or put some silica gel pouches inside to adsorb moisture

: : Is this normal?
: : Can it be stopped / reduced?

: : Also how well does a strobe reduce / stop backsplatter?
