Liveaboards are great but the last day waiting in Sharm harbour is a toxic experience, especially since the crew seem to have that day off! Clean that boat! Diving? It describes an area of coastline stretching between Taba and Nuweiba. The coastline in this area is amongst the most picturesque to be found anywhere in Sinai. It offers pristine coral reefs close to beaches and numerous secluded bays, coves and lagoons. : Red Sea Waterworld Taba Heights is a purpose built 5 Star water sport centre with its own private Marina. It is located at the entrance to the Taba Heights resort, “Satellite Centres” can be found at all Taba Heights Hotel Resorts. We offer several PADI courses, daily boat dives and a big variety of water sport activities. : Concerned about safety of our clients and the reef environment, we ask any diver with an Open Water License no matter the number of logged dives, and/or any diver with less than 20 logged dives, even if he holds an Advanced license, and/or any diver not in the possession of a valid diving license to complete a “Check-Out” dive. The “Check-Out” dive will be conducted in the sea (weather permitted). Basic diving skills will be revised, equipment adjusted and removed and the Red Sea conditions including local regulations introduced. The cost of the “Check-Out” dive is $45 including equipment. : Guests who didn’t dive in the last 6 months and divers that didn’t dive in the Red Sea are recommended to enroll in a “Check-Out” dive as well. : We endeavor to deliver an excellent level of service to all our divers. To make that possible, we request all divers exempt from check dives, call in at the main centre for registration, with their passports, diving licenses, logbooks and private equipment before 16:00 hours on the day before commencing diving. The purpose of this registration visit is to finalize administration and to provide an equipment box and all rental equipment you require for the duration of your stay with us. This enables us to ensure that all your equipment is loaded onto the boat the night before your dive and that you can have a relaxed start to a great day of diving. : All our daily diving trips are arranged by boat. A days diving is one dive in the morning and another dive in the afternoon using 12L aluminum tanks. All dives include tanks, weights and weight belt and the services of a qualified dive guide. Mineral water & soft drinks during the day and a hot lunch onboard cost 30 LE and will be paid locally to the boat crew. : Prices: : $35 Half Day / Single dive : $60 Full day / 2 dives : $170 3 days / 6 dives package : $260 5 days / 10 dives package : $35 Private dive guide per dive : $20 Third dive : Equipment is included on most of the dive courses but for daily diving only tanks, weights and weight belt are supplied. Equipment is available for rent on a per day basis. Full equipment rental per day is US $25. In case you would like to rent separate items of equipment, please contact me again. : All divers must present a valid certification card and logbook. : Regarding diving in Taba, it is not as spectacular than diving Ras Mohamed, the Straits of Tiran or the Red Sea wrecks. Did you read the description of our dive sites on our web-site already? There is not much more to say. Corals are still pristine and ideal for Macro-Photography. Don't expect deep walls, strong current or very big fish. Still diving there is a nice experience! : We offer a free shuttle bus service from the Radisson SAS hotel and the Marriott, Hyatt and Sofitel hotel located at Taba Heights direct to Red Sea Waterworld every day. : I hope the information provided above is helpful.
