Emmanuel - yes, you can, remember to keep your eyes closed during mask removal & replacement exercises though. If you've ever gone swimming with lenses in you'll probably do it instinctively anyway. Another problem can come when initially fitting your mask, as it can pull the skin at the side of your eye back a bit, and the lens pops out if you're not careful! (yes, I did this..)
It's best to use daily lenses, as if you do actually lose one it's not that big a deal. As far as depth limits go, I've heard of soft lenses temporarily 'misting up' on ascent due to tiny bubbles expanding in the material, but I've never experienced this, and PADI OW will limit you to 18m anyway..
Another option is to get a mask fitted with prescription lenses. It's a bit pricey, and if you go for this option, check when you buy the mask that it can take these lenses, as not all do. Having said that, I have a prescription mask and never use it any more, as I find using contact lenses more convenient generally.
