Raleigh International is a UK Youth Development Charity which takes 17-25 year olds on 12 week expeditions around the world and sets them challenging projects which help their personal development and assist the country we are working in.
In Costa Rica we are carrying out Environmental Research work to help the local Environmental group to set up a Marine Reserve. We are also involved with building and maintaining artificial reefs.
We need PADI Instructors and AI's to run the projects which will involve teaching the young people to dive and then organising and overseeing the science work. Other useful skills would be project management, boat handling and compressor operation. There are 2 expeditions in 2005, in January and April. This is a great opportunity to work on a self sufficient, remote dive site with a real sense of achievement.
