That depends on what you think these organisations stand for? CCC gathers base-line data (with recreational divers) so the local authorities can make informed decisions about THEIR environment. : I wouldn't want to put all of that money into doing such a project and than find out that the effort is directed towards the wrong part of the problem and that I could spend the money more effectively. So there expensive? I have recently priced up a diving trip to the Bahamas £2000.00 for a week. That would get about 2 months with CCC and the diving's better on an expedition that a holiday resort. What do you think the problem is? : Any arguments for/against? For: You get to contribute to the marine environment, meet the local people, and form friendships for life.
