Could anyone let me know if it is possible to convert a 300 bar DIN valve to a A clamp fitting. I have a A clamp on my 1st stage but the 12l 300 bar tank I have just bought has a DIN valve. I have seen the inserts you can get for the 232 bar valve but not 300 bar. Can anyone help me with this please.
Thanks

Hi Mate,
This is not usually a problem, you just need to get hold of one of the adaptors which simply screw into the cylinder valve.
Contact Go Dive at derby I'm sure they have some.

Sorry must appologise, mis-read 300bar part, A-clamp will not safely support 300 Bar.

You cannot use an A clamp on a 300bar cylinder. It is not safe as the clamp will not take the extra pressure.

You need to get your first stage converted to 300 bar DIN, it is the only way this will work. This shouldn't cost too much (£30-£50). As pointed out previously, A-Clamps won't take 300 bar.
