Buddy Board > Anyone for mid-week dives to South/West coast?

I am a 41yo male PADI Advanced Open Water diver with own kit and transport, living in Cheltenham, Glos. Family commitments make it difficult for me to dive weekends, but my work is very flexible so I can fit in lots of mid week dives. That is, if I have a buddy with similar free time...

I qualified this year, so I'm still offocially green, but I'm also relaxed and confident with diving. All my diving has been in drysuits in the UK (so far). I am very keen on wrecks and other coastal stuff, and like to research them before I dive 'em. I've dived the James Eagan Layne, Scylla, Alice Marie, Lincoln (out of Plymouth and Penzance). OK, not much, but you have to start somewhere! I haven't dived the Swanage wrecks yet, or anything off Pembrokeshire or Scillies, and so that all seems of great interest. And I could dive the JEL a dozen times and enjoy it.

I'm a keen photographer, and carry a digicam in waterproof housing. But I don't let that get in the way of making steady progress around a wreck site!

I'm happy to get up super-early and get down/across to the coast for 0830 or 0900 kickoff in a RIB or whatever.

Oh, and I'll probably do the Deep Diver (40m) course soon, and maybe do Nitrox too. Hopefully this'll give access to more wrecks and for longer each time.

BUT, I'm not so keen on quarries! I should probably visit them all once, but my training dives didn't set me on fire for them!

Finally, I'm at the chilled end of the behaviour/outlook spectrum, not the gung-ho end. I enjoy the peace of diving, as well as mooching about debriefing in the pub after.

Sorry for all the gabbling. If my prefs sound close-ish to yours, then please let me know at
