Galaxsea Divers opened for business in Ipswich in December 2002.
It's easy to see that diving is the lifelong passion for its owner, Steve Webb, a PADI Course Director. Steve's objective with his shop, his club, 'for those who don't like clubs', holiday and training programmes is to enable beginners and more experienced divers to enjoy diving to the full.
After a spell of rapid growth, in July 2005, Galaxsea Divers was accredited as a PADI 5 Star Instructor Development Centre, and that means that we're able to deliver a wide range of courses and instruction to the highest levels. Later the same year, we became one of just a handful of centres qualified to offer National Geographic courses. Based on the PADI system, these offer additional insights into ecological and conservation issues.
